Specially commissioned artists bring their chalk artwork to life

TAMPA, Fla. (March 27, 2019) – Tampa Bay Businesses for Culture & the Arts (TBBCA) is thrilled to pARTner with 11th annual Winthrop Arts Festival & Market for TBBCA Chalk Walk. The free, fun, family friendly live art experience will feature four specially commissioned chalk artists bringing their special genre of art to life
Saturday, March 30th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Winthrop Commons, Riverview. The final chalk art will be on display through Sunday, March 31st as the Winthrop Arts Festival & Market continues for a second day. In the past, the festival has attracted hundreds of visitors from across the region.

Winthrop Arts Inc. President of the Board of Visionaries, Matthew Hamilton, commented, “Winthrop Arts Board and Committee are proud to present the 11th annual Arts Festival, a juried art fair featuring over 50 visual and performing artists from across the south east working in glass, jewelry, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, watercolor, wood and other media.. We’re all looking forward to enjoying it.”
