IMPACT Awards
Since 1989, Tampa Bay Businesses for Culture & the Arts (TBBCA) has proudly presented the IMPACT Awards, celebrating businesses, organizations, and individuals who demonstrate exceptional leadership, philanthropy, and creative partnerships in support of the arts, arts education, and culture throughout the Greater Tampa Bay area.
Join us for a memorable evening as we honor outstanding contributors to the cultural vitality of our region and spotlight the next generation of artistic talent. This year’s celebration will also feature the presentation of the Charlie Hounchel Arts Scholarship, awarded to exceptional high school students excelling in visual and literary arts, theater, dance, instrumental, and vocal music.
Together, we’ll recognize those making a lasting impact on our community—and those just beginning their creative journey.
CHASS Awards
Tampa Bay BCA annually awards six or more scholarships to Tampa Bay area high school students with exceptional talents in instrumental and vocal music, theater, dance, visual and literary arts. The program was founded in 2008 by the late Charlie Hounchell, a former president of Tampa Bay BCA. It was later renamed in his honor. Tampa Bay BCA has awarded over $280,000 in financial tuition assistance to more than 102 Tampa Bay area students, the majority from public high schools.

You’re invited to join the Tampa Bay Business Coalition for the Arts for a relaxed happy hour designed to bring together new and longtime members for meaningful connection and conversation.
